Filipa Correia
Biography
Filipa Correia received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, 2021. In the past, she was a teaching assistant in the courses of Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Agents Systems, Society and Computing, and Social Robots & Human-Robot Interaction. She had also been part of 2 EU Projects, EMOTE and iv4XR. Her international recognition includes community service as part of a Program Committee (e.g. HRI, AAMAS) and attendance at a Dagstuhl Seminar.
Filipa’s current position at ITI is as an assistant researcher in the field of Human-Robot Interaction. Her multidisciplinary research tackles the intersection of robotics, computer science and social psychology, focusing on teamwork and group dynamics between humans and robots in collaborative scenarios.
